Introducing the Mercedes-Benz AMG GLC43 SUV
Mercedes-Benz introduces their latest addition to the AMG lineup, the 2017 Mercedes-Benz AMG GLC43. The GLC43 is the first mid-size SUV to have undergone the performance enhancements and upgrades at the hands of this legendary automaker’s AMG performance division. With these upgrades, the 2017 AMG GLC43 is expected not only to take aim at its competition but take the entire segment by storm. The 2017 GLC43 will be available at dealers by the end of 2016.
A Boost Under the Hood
As you might expect, one of the biggest performance enhancements in any Mercedes-Benz vehicle happens under the hood. AMG took the standard 3.0-liter V6 and turned it into a twin turbocharged powerhouse that sports a full 362 horsepower that can deliver 384 pound-feet of torque to the ground. This is enough power to propel the 2017 AMG GLC43 from 0 to 60 miles per hour in a mere 4.8 seconds and take you to a top speed of 155 mph
All this power is delivered through the latest Mercedes-Benz 9G-TRONIC® nine-speed shiftable automatic transmission. This is the first nine-speed automatic transmission in the world. By using a hydrodynamic torque converter to improve efficiency, this transmission can increase overall fuel economy by as much as 6.5 percent. The AMG version offers shorter shift times and a total of five DYNAMIC SELECT® modes: Eco, Comfort, Sport, Sport Plus, and Individual.
All 2017 AMG GLC43 models come standard with the Mercedes-Benz 4MATIC® all-wheel drive system. This system is configured with a rear bias that splits the torque at 31 percent to the front and 69 percent to the rear for a sportier feeling and better performance.
A Superior Driving Experience
There is far more to the 2017 AMG GLC43 than raw power. The five transmission modes mentioned above allow you to set the shift points to match driving conditions and your personal preferences. Along with this, the design team at AMG has created the AIR BODY CONTROL® air suspension system. This system uses the latest in adaptive damping to provide you with better ride comfort while at the same time improving overall vehicle dynamics when compared to standard steel spring suspension

The 2017 Mercedes-Benz AMG GLC43 comes loaded with a wealth of standard features beyond the powerplant and drivetrain. Among these are the following:
